Born in Switzerland to an Italian family, he began filming and editing as a child, drawn to the craft like it had chosen him. As a teenager, he found in cinema a sense of purpose and direction that never left. After high school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking full-time.
His bachelor thesis film earned multiple awards, and he later completed a Master of Fine Arts at the New York Film Academy.
